“You have every right to be upset with our inability to use our strength in parliament to protect the party’s interest” – Edem Agbana tells NDC Youths

The deputy national Youth Organizer of the NDC says the Youths of the party have the right to be upset their inability to use their strength in parliament to protect the party’s interest.

The youth of the Party—NDC have been expressing their disappointment at their National leadership for approving the nominations of some Minister designates.

Some of such persons who the youth of the party has been calling on the party to reject at vetting are Mr. Dominic Nitiwul, Hon. Hawa Koomson, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah among others.

In a letter addressing the Youths of the party, Edem Agbana accepted that the youths of the party have the right to be angry at they in leadership for their inability to secure justice for our fallen heroes.

You have every right to be be angry with us for our seeming inability to secure justice for our fallen heroes.

Edem Agbana in his statement said;

My phone has been inundated with calls and messages from the rank and file of our party. Many young comrades are disappointed and want to give up on the party.

You have every right to be upset with our inability to use our strength in parliament to protect the party’s interest.

You have every right to be be angry with us for our seeming inability to secure justice for our fallen heroes – those who lost their lives during the election.

Your anger is justified and your concerns are legitimate. However Giving up is not an option, let’s remain here and fight this battle together for the party we love so deeply.

Especially for us the young ones, we must realize that this is our party and this crisis is only a clarion call to duty.

Let’s RE-dedicate our hearts and efforts to REBUILDING this party.

I am confident your concerns will be addressed appropriately and this would influence our actions henceforth.

Let us also remember that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

These are tough times but we must remain tougher.
