Ghanaian Dancehall musician Emmanuel Andrews Sammini, known by his stage name Samini has been prevented from holding the hands of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo. 

It could be recalled that Samini a few months ago endorsed the second term bid of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo and composed a campaign song for the New Patriotic Party titled ‘Kpoyaka’.

In a video sighted by, the renowned Dancehall Musician attempted to hold the hands of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo on a campaign platform but was hit on the hand and prevented from touching the President.

In the video, the Dancehall musician looked angered by the how the security details of the President embarrassingly prevented him from touching or raising the President’s hand as a sign of endorsing the President.

Following this incident that looked like a disgrace to Samini, many Ghanaians have been reacting to the incident with some arguing that the artist was prevented from touching the President due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
