Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin has apologized to MTN Ghana for deceiving the Public that ¢10,000 was Stolen from her Momo wallet.

Earlier this week, actress Salma Mumin made an Instagram post in which she indicated that an amount of ¢10,000 was fraudulently withdrawn from her MTN Mobile Money account.

In response to Salma Mumin’s post, MTN Ghana indicated that the allegations made by actress Salma Mumin are false and that the actress didn’t have such an amount in her Momo wallet.

The response from MTN Ghana also asked the actress to retract and apologize her false and misleading statement within twenty four (24) hours.

In a new Instagram post, actress Salma Mumin retracted and apologized for her false statement about ¢10,000 being removed from her Mobile Money wallet.

In an Instagram post, Salma Mumin wrote;

As a result of a misapprehension I mistakenly and unfortunately made a post to the effect that “MTN KEEP SAYING NOBODY CAN WITHDRAW YOUR MONO ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR CONCERN BUT I JUST FOUND OUT MY over GH(10,000) cedis from my business mono account has been taken…
MTN IS NOT SAFE ANYMORE!”

It was clearly mistaken. I hereby retract the said post and apologize unreservedly to MTN Ghana for any inconvenience caused it by my
earlier post.

I also express my sincere gratitude to MTN Ghana for its effective and prompt support in resolving the difficulty i was facing with my
transaction.
