Peter Amewu secures over 50 Scholarships for Constituents
Former Energy Minister and the Member of Parliament for the Hohoe Constituency, John Peter Amewu has secured over gifty (50) scholarships for his Constituents.
Hon. Amewu who is the first Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party in the Volta Region has outlined some of his achievements within the first thirty (30) days.
According to the list of achievements presented by the Hohoe MP show that he has secured over fifty (50) Government of Ghana scholarships for his Constituents.
Making the announcement of his achievements, Hon. John Peter Amewu said ;
“In furtherance of my promise to run an administration that is accountable to my constituents. I shall be reporting on a monthly basis our developmental activities within Hohoe.
The attached infographic entails what we have done within the month of January covering infrastructure, education,jobs among others.
I came to be a servant leader for my people and leave a lasting legacy through my service to them.
Through this social contract and in the spirit of unity; i wish to urge everybody to make his/her contribution in making our beloved Hohoe a better place for future generations.”
Below are some of the Projects undertaken by Hon. John Peter Amewu
Infrastructure: Work has started on construction of the chiefs palace for wli and zongo Communities.
Education: Secured scholarships for Over 50 students to start tertiary education locally and donation of laptops to teachers and students within the constituency.
Water: Final works on Boreholes drilled to be commissioned for use.
Jobs: Secured Employment for some Hohoe youths within the public sector.
Electricity: Connection of more Communities to the National grid covering Micheal Camp
Hohoe town roads: Drainage work has commenced for expansion of road network within Kitikpa and segbedome areas among others.
