NPP selects Parliamentary leadership ahead of 7th January inauguration

The National Council of the New Patriotic Party has selected the Parliamentary leadership for the 8th Parliament.

In meeting held on Monday, January 4,
2021, the council elected Leaders of it’s Parliamentary Group in accordance with
Article 14(2) of the New Patriotic Party’s Constitution.

During the meeting, the council Elected members of Parliamentary elect to occupy Parliamentary leadership positions when the 8th Parliament is inaugurated on the midnight of 7th January, 2021.

Majority Leader

Hon. Osei Kyel-Mensah Bonsu , the Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region

Deputy Majority Leader

Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the  Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region

Majority Chief Whip

Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Member of Parliament for the Nsawam-Adoagyire Constituency in the Eastern Region.

 

Deputy Majority Chief Whip

Hon. Iddrisu Habib, the Member of Parliament for the Tolon Constituency in the Northern Region

Deputy Majority Chief Whip

Hon.Lydia Seyram Alhassan the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
