NDC’s Supreme Court Petition: “We have the relevant evidence to support our …” – Nelson Dafeamekpor
The member of Parliament for the South Dayi constituency, Hon. Rockson-Nelson Este Kwami Dafeamekpor says they have the relevant to support their election petition.
Hon. Rockson Dafeamekpor’s Political Party, the NDC filled a petition at the supreme Court of Ghana challenging the 2020 Presidential election results declared by the Electoral Commission in favour of candidate Nana Akufo Addo.
Following the filling of the election petition, the New Patriotic Party, which is the second respondent in the Election petition indicated that the NDC does not have the material evidence to back the petition they’ve filled at the supreme Court.
Responding to the New Patriotic Party’s claim that the NDC does not have the relevant documents to support their petition, Hon. Rockson Dafeamekpor said that the they have they have the relevant evidence to support their petition.
In a tweet, Hon. Dafeamekpor further indicated that, there is nothing like material evidence which the NPP claims they (NDC) does not have.
“NDC Presidential Election Petition Lacks Material Evidence Of Value-NPP Claims. Someone, kindly remind NPP that there is nothing like material evidence. We have relevant evidence. In any case, we don’t plead evidence in petitions. We plead material facts. We await their Answer” The South Dayi lawmaker said.”
