Information available to talkingdrum.com.gh indicates that former Mr. Martin Amidu is set to release CCTV camera footages of Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta’s visit to his house.
It could be recalled that the former Special Prosecutor, Mr. Martin Amidu resigned as the First Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Ghana with reasons that the President and some Government officials are interfering in his work as special prosecutor.
Speaking in an interview on Citi FM, Mr. Martin Amidu revealed that the current Minister for finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta visited him whiles he was preparing the report of his Corruption assessment of the Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal which many persons dispute.
Mr. Martin Amidu said;
“The fact that you are in government doesn’t mean that when you are dissatisfied about a report, you go after the person or the fellow. The Minister of Finance has been my friend for years; why will I go for him? When I was writing the report, didn’t he come to this house? Was he not here on 21 October? What did I tell him? Why is he now churning our information about me and targets and all that? Should I come out? Let’s stop it and I say let’s stop it before we wash dirty linen in public.”
However, information coming from reliable quarters indicates that the former Special Prosecutor, Mr. Martin A.B.K Amidu is planning to release the CCTV footage of Mr. Ken Ofori Atta’s visit to his house.
A social media commentator named Citizen Yao in a post said;
Martin Amidu to release CCTV footages of Ken Ofori Atta visiting his house and begging him in regards to the corrupt Agyapa deal. Watch out for it.
