Lordina Mahama calls for greater reforms to promote the interest of women and protect them from all forms of violence

Former first Lady Lordina Mahama has issued a statement as the world celebrates International Women’s day today.

The former first lady in her statement said that the country and the world at large must look at the tremendous efforts of women in the health sector in the fight against the deadly Covid-19 virus.

LordinaMahama called for a push for reforms to empower women’s interests and to also protect them from violence.

In her Statement, Lordina Mahama said;

In acknowledgement of the theme for, “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”, we must, together, recognize the tremendous efforts of female doctors, nurses, caregivers, scientists and researchers, in the battle against the pandemic.
