According to Hon. Kwabena Minta Akandoh, it is disgraceful for a married woman to sit on the laps of someone’s husband as the Ablekuma Central Constituency lawmaker did.

“I had to behave myself so I sat quietly untill and looked at her until she herself got up, that was disgraceful right, married woman sitting von the laps of somebody’s husband.” The Juaboso lawmaker said.

He further added that, since the incident occurred between him and Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, his wife has not taken it easy because, she thought Hon. Ursula shouldn’t have done such a thing.

“Since then, my wife has not taken it easy. She thought she shouldn’t have done that.

You know we’re in Ghana and we have traditions and there are certain parts of the body of the woman which is suppose to be for your husband. So if you sit on the laps of another person’s husband and infact even in law, it’s s*xual harassment.”
