It’s a pleasure to have had the opportunity to serve Ghana – Stephen Appiah

Former Ghanaian footballer Stephen Leroy Appiah has expressed his appreciation to for the opportunity he was given to play for the country .

According to Stephen Appiah, it has been his pleasure to be given the opportunity to serve his motherland—Ghana.

In a tweet, Stephen Appiah wrote;

“It’s a pleasure to have had the opportunity to serve our motherland!

May God continue to bless our homeland Ghana and keep making us great and strong. #HappyIndependenceDayGhana”

Stephen Appiah

Stephen Leroy Appiah is a Ghanaian retired footballer who played as a midfielder.

Appiah was a member of the Ghana national team, which he has represented at the youth, Olympic, and senior levels.

He captain of the Ghana blackstars at their World Cup debut in 2006 and was also a member of their squad for the 2010 World Cup.
