“How will the nation pay for vaccines?” – Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko
Lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has questioned how the Country—Ghana will pay for Covid-19 Vaccines.
According to Lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the country’s economy slumped in 2020 due to the outbreak of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic across the globe.
The lawyer further added that, Government’s revenue reduced by some GH¢13.5bn a covid-related activities and the Government also incurred unplanned covid-related activities amounting to ¢12bn.
In a tweet, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko said;
“In 2020, economic activities slumped due to the pandemic; Govt revenues fell drastically by some GH¢13.5bn and unanticipated covid-related activities added some ¢12bn to expenditures. How will the nation pay for vaccines, etc., and cost of reviving the economy?”
