Francis Xavier Sosu makes his first donation to Constituents as Member of Parliament
The Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency, Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu has made his first donation to his Constituents as a member of Parliament.
Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu was part of the Members of Parliament for the 8th Parliament of the fourth Republic who were sworn in on 7th January, 2021 after he defeated the New Patriotic Party’s Abu-Bakar Saddique Boniface to become MP for the area.
After his swearing in as Member of Parliament, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu joined muslims at the Madina Central mosque for thanksgiving and Prayers.
During his visit to the Madina Central mosque for thanksgiving and Prayers, the Madina lawmaker made his first donation to his Constituents.
Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu donated hundred  bags of cement to the support the construction of new mosque.
The lawmaker also used the opportunity to interact with the chiefs of the area, the mosque committee and other constituents.
In a post after the Thanksgiving and Prayer at the Madina Central mosque, Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu said;
“I joined the Central Mosque, Madina, Taxi Rank, for Islamic Thanksgiving Prayers this afternoon. I visited them before the General Elections and needed to come back to thank Almighty Allah for the victory and successful
l also donated 100 bags of cement to support their new mosque project and interacted with the chiefs, the mosque committee and the children.
It was fulfilling to be back with thanksgiving to Almighty Allah.”

Lawyer Xavier Sosu became the MP for Madina after he contested for the Madina Parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress against ABU-BAKAR SADDIQUE BONIFACE of NPP and Prince Joseph Oppong-Boadi of GUM.
