Mufti Menk explained that some people think it’s cool to publisize their sins on social media but It’s not because, sins must be kept private between you and the
Almighty.

The renowned Zimbabwean Muslim cleric further added that, it is worrying how people now openly show pride in their Sins and share them on social media, which indicates that they probably would not be repenting from their Sins.

In a tweet, Mufti Menk wrote;

“Don’t fall into the trap of  publicising your sins on social media. Some people think it’s cool. It’s not. Keep your sins private between you and the Almighty. Repent soonest possible. When you show pride in the sin, that’s worrying. You probably won’t be repenting for it too.”

Thanks Shaykh.We (people) are into
disseminating our infractions to the the public, thinking it’s civilisation. It’s not. Death wait for no one. May Allah reward you abundantly.

The prophet of Allah mentioned that
some of those that would be punished severely are those that executed a sinful deed in private, yet they go outside to publicize it.
We gain nothing from publicizing our sins sins Allah has protected you from being caught. Reflect and repent.
