Musician turned Politician Kwame Asare Obeng popularly called A Plus has called on former President John Dramani Mahama to call President elect Nana Akufo Addo and Congratulate him.

The Electoral Commission of Ghana on 9th December, 2020 announced Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the Winner of this years 7th December, 2020 Presidential election.

After the declaration of Candidate Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo as the Winner of the Presidential election, the Presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama held a press conference during which he indicated that he does not accept the result declared by the Electoral Commission.

Following former President John Dramani Mahama’s disagreement with the Election result declared by the Electoral Commission, A Plus has called on John Dramani Mahama to accept the result and do the needful and calling President Nana Akufo Addo and congratulate.

In a statement on his Facebook Page, A Plus wrote;

“Dear JDM,

Those who care about you and your political future are those who will advise you to accept the results irrespective of what may have happened, call Nana Akufo Addo and congratulate him, take a retrospective break and make a decision for tomorrow.

Those who give you such advice are the people you need around you right now; they are the ones you should be listening to at this moment. It may help you in the near future.

This is just a suggestion though. You know better.
