“Awards don’t cure hunger” – Edem to persons criticising musicians for not winning a Grammy

Rapper Edem has joined the debate on the inability of Ghanaian rappers to win a Grammy award.

The debate over the ability of Ghanaian musicians to win a Grammy award has become topical after two Nigerian musicians made it big on the Grammy s this year.

The latest Ghanaian artiste to join this debate is the Gbevu Nation boss Edem.

According to Edem, he is more concerned about the bread and butter issues of musicians in Ghana than winning of awards.

The rapper further added that awards do not cure hunger. In a tweet, Edem said;

“I am more concerned about everybody in the food chain getting the bag first..If that’s not sorted,no award go cure the hunger“.
